The ‘mad minute’ at the Frankfurt Book Fair

I’VE JUST written a short piece for the international publishing journal, Publishing Perspectives, on the joys of ‘shopping’ for kids’ books at international book fairs.

You can read the piece, which was published in yesterday’s inaugural twice-monthly children’s books edition, here.

A timely reminder I’ll be heading to the Frankfurt Book Fair in just a few weeks’ time. To help pay my way, I’ll be writing pieces for both Publishing Perspectives and, closer to home, my old magazine, Bookseller+Publisher, as well as hopefully cutting a few book deals. I’m particularly looking forward to seeing this year’s Guest of Honour country, Iceland (although I hope someone else will be proofreading any articles I write about it).
