'Sam and His Dad' will be out in time for Father's Day in Australia

As if you needed reminding, Father’s Day falls on the first Sunday in September in Australia, and this year we’ve got the perfect Father’s Day gift for the dad with a young family.

Sam and His Dad is a charming semi-autobiographical picture book by the award-winning French illustrator Serge Bloch.

Originally published in France, it has gone on to become a modern classic there, it’s warm and funny depictions of modern family life striking a chord with anyone who’s lived with young kids.

Our edition, which will be released in time for Father’s Day in Australia (4 September) and in North America in 2011, will be the first English language edition published anywhere in the world.
