Anne-Gaëlle Balpe was born in 1975 and lives in Paris. Writing is a passion that she has had since childhood. The books that have fascinated her since childhood have never left her, and she likes to think that she can offer children, in turn, a trip to other worlds through her stories.

She says she knits with words because she does not know how to knit with wool.

After studying philosophy, she turned to multimedia and began a university career and chose to become a teacher of schools. Since 2009Anne-Gaëll is a part-time kindergarten teacher, devoting the other half of her time to writing.
