Anna recently finished uploading all our titles onto the shopping cart on SPUNC’s website. This means we now have the ability to sell our titles direct to consumers online.

We joined SPUNC—a networking community for small publishers—a short while ago and the ability to sell online is an immediate and tangible benefit of membership.

Of course, our preference is to sell books through booksellers, but that’s not always possible—while many booksellers love our books as much as we do, some simply won’t stock them no matter what we or our distributor, The Scribo Group, seem to do.

‘Where can I buy your books?’ is still the most common enquiry we get from members of the public. We recently posted customised Google Maps of the stockists of our two most recent titles, The Red Piano and Kampung Boy, on our website so that consumers could find the stockist nearest to them.

So, if you can support your local bookseller, please do so. But if your local bookseller doesn’t have our books, and won’t order them in for you, then now at least we have a way of bringing you and our books together.
